আম্বেদকর মেধা অন্বেষণ পরীক্ষাটি সূচনা হয় 2021 সালে বিশিষ্ঠ আম্বেদকরবাদী বুদ্ধিজীবী গবেষক পঙ্কজ তাঁতী,গবেষক ও শিক্ষক বিনোদ সরদার ও শিক্ষক কমল চন্দ্র প্রামাণিক এর ভাবনায়। আম্বেদকর জনজাগরণী সমিতি ও তপশিলি টিচার্স ফোরাম সম্পূর্ন ভাবে এই পরীক্ষার দায় ভার নেয়। বিশিষ্ঠ গবেষক ও বুদ্ধিজীবী পঙ্কজ তাঁতী,বিনোদ সরদার ও কমল প্রামাণিক আম্বেদকর জনজাগরনী সমিতির সভাপতি,সম্পাদক ও সদস্য পদাধিকারি হিসাবে বিদ্যমান। আম্বেদকর জনজাগরনী সমিতি ও তপশিলি টিচার্স ফোরামের আঞ্চলিক প্রভাবে মন্দিরবাজার ব্লকে ও কুলতলি ব্লকে প্রথম 2021 সালে পরীক্ষার মহাসূচনা হয়। এই পরীক্ষার খবর সারা পশ্চিমবঙ্গে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে ও সকল আম্বেদকর বুদ্ধিজীবীগণ ও সংগঠন এই মেধা অন্বেষণের সাথে যুক্ত হয়ে পড়েন ও যৌথ ভাবে কাজ শুরু করেন। লক্ষ্য হলো সারা পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সমস্ত জেলার প্রতিটি ব্লকে পরীক্ষা আয়োজন করা।

The Ambedkar Talent Search Examination was launched in 2021 by eminent Ambedkarist intellectual researcher Pankaj Tanti, researcher and teacher Binod Sardar and teacher Kamal Chandra Pramanik. Ambedkar Janajagarani Samiti and Tapashili Teachers Forum take full charge of this exam. Eminent researchers and intellectuals Pankaj Tanti, Binod Sardar and Kamal Pramanik Ambedkar Janajagarani Samiti exist as presidents, Secretary and ex-officio members. With the regional influence of Ambedkar Janajagarni Samiti and Tapashili Teachers Forum, Mandirbazar block and Kultali block were first to conduct the examination in 2021. The news of this examination spread all over West Bengal and all Ambedkar intellectuals and organizations joined this Talent search and started working jointly. The aim is to organize the examination in every block of all the districts of West Bengal.
